Here it is at 1:30 or so in the morning and i'm back from the casino. Not to bad, I went in with $150.00 and pulled down to $40.00 hit $350.00 and came home.My quick math tells me I made $240.00,not to bad. Thing is I probably would not have gone at all had it not been for cabin fever. I've been stuck here since Monday......[medical]
I really and truely do like the casino but now that they serve booze I only go through the week if I can't sleep,usually two or so in the morning. I'm known in the [vally of the sun] as Charlie the money transfer man. I win at one place and lose it at another. I've lost eighty/ninty thousand or so since the casino have opened,not counting recycled winnings,probably another forty thou or so.
Point being, if anybody thinks for one minute there going to get rich on a slot machine you had better think again.UNLESS of course you hit the big one ,and that is what everybody is there for,I know I 'm ready for it. I also enjoy watching the people and believe me sometimes it isn't funny what you see. Incidentially,before someone says it ,I know i don't have to go there and I' not worried about the money,and I'm not bitchin.so there!
I can't understand why the cities don't put the machines downtown, Ha!Ha! They could run a surplus in three months. Arnold mentioned it ,every once in awhile some politican will threaten to do just that, The next thing you know you can't hit on a machine for the next three months. Do you suppose there recooping?Naw!! For everything It's the poor Indian factor, Bullcrap. Now I hear that Donald Trump is going to buy into the casinos?Again??? Think we'll see shopping centers and high rises sprout up on Indian land on the desert? Come to think about it, Gila river does have a Marriott or something. And theres that Harrahs down in Merricopa. Companies don't have to go overseas to reap benifets ,theres an Indian nation in their own back door. And it's tax free.
If the American government should take over the operation of the casinos It could clear up the national debt in three to five years and a surplus in six or seven,and the American Indian would be no worse off or no better off than they are now. I don't know what I'm talking about you say ? I would if they would show the books. Of course they won't, and that keeps a lot of people safe don't it?...........charlie poore [Indian]
